IMPROVING OXYGEN LEVELS

OXYGEN IMPORTANCE:

Oxygen is the most important nutrition of our cells, every function in our body is dependent on oxygen, and it is the power for our body and muscles. In a healthy environment our cells are rich in oxygen, rejuvenated every night as we sleep. Optimum oxygen levels will give you more energy, enhanced brain function, and lower stress. You can overcome fatigue easily, you look and feel younger.  

What Causes Low Oxygen?

The most common cause of low oxygen is a poor level of fitness. A low oxygen environment deprives the cells of essential nutrients needed for energy to clean and rebuild. As a result our body fluids and blood can become dirty and toxic. It also weakens the immune system, which can lead to viral infections ,heart diseaseAnemia, premature aging, Respiratory ailments, Stress,  Fatigue and Metabolic diseases etc.



Tips to Improve Oxygen:

1. Exercises:

The fitness is the most important to improve the oxygen.The fitness program may be regular exercise,workouts, yoga or walking. You can include breathing exercises, pranayama. It improves your breathing.


2. Get Fresh Air:

Fresh Air provides you with energy and bring you additional amounts of oxygen to the lungs. We need to open our windows and breathe the fresh air. We can also have small plants in our house which increases the oxygen intake.

 3.Drinking Water:

In order to oxygenate and expel carbon dioxide, our lungs need to be hydrated and drinking enough water, therefore, influences oxygen levels.

4.Meditation:

Begin a daily meditation or prayer routine that emphasizes deep breathing. Five to ten minutes per day of relaxed and focused breathing can improve your oxygen intake and reduce stress.


5.Eat Iron-Rich Food:

Certain foods can help improve the oxygen levels in your blood. Iron is a mineral needed for our red blood cells, the cells that transport blood around the body. That is why we can be tired and exhausted if we lack iron.the sources where iron-rich foods is found in green leafy vegetables like spinach,kale, broccoli, fruits such as apples, legumes, and lean proteins such as eggs, poultry, and fish.


6.Pulse Oximeter:

Pulse oximeters are extremely useful tools for measuring your blood oxygen level (O2 saturation) and pulse rate quickly and accurately. Oxygen saturation should always be above 95 percent. Get an inexpensive pulse oximeter, clip it on your finger, and measure your O2 uptake and your pulse 5-6 times a day. Compare your O2 uptake and pulse when you’re exercising and at rest. A few simple measurements are different  activity levels will show you how to maximize your your blood’s oxygen level.
