From the above comparisons, I recommend Amazon Echo Dot new version , as it has better mike, which gives better sound effect, better volume control and connects an external speaker ,this also responds faster from a short  distance when compared to Mini. Both are budget friendly and are easy to access and has a sleek design which matches to any decor.
